Sophie, my rescue springer spaniel, has (with the help of tumblr) been able to beat an aggressive cancer - at 8 years old. Unfortunately, after only 6 months, she’s in danger again… and this time it’s worse. 

It’s called a Sarcoma nerve sheath tumor, and it’s eating her leg up. With much consideration of all treatment options, I have made the decision to have her leg amputated to try to stop the cancer from spreading any further. I need $4,500. I’m desperate to save my little dog. She is really all I have in this world, and I can’t bear the thought of losing her. It hurts to know that she will possibly be spending her 9th birthday awaiting surgery this month. But I’m willing to do anything to save her. She is strong, she has fight in her. I won’t let her suffer. Tumblr, please you didn’t let me down the last time. Help us beat this cancer for good.
